My baby loves to take baths and I am used to extremely hot water on my hands due to hand washing dishes, so I can't tell when the water is too hot for normal people. I definitely needed something to help me gauge when the bath water was too hot, so this is perfect for that. It is super easy to use, as soon as it hits the water, it will tell you the temperature. If you have a baby and need help determining when the water is too hot/cold, this is a great option. There is the added bonus that the baby enjoys playing with the shark because it is so cute!

Does not work for room thermometer. Despite the item description saying it’s for bath and room, there is no instruction on room use. It’s triggered by water contact and will automatically turn off once out of water for a certain period of time. Bought this for the convenience of having both functions but it was a lie.

The media could not be loaded.

I really like this product- it’s a water activated thermometer. I use it for every bath. My only complaint is that one of the gauges rusted. I haven’t had trouble with it getting the temperature incorrect though. Overall easy to use, cute and functional.

Do not buy. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is so dangerous. Thankfully we double checked the water with a kitchen thermometer during bath time because we could tell something wasn’t right. Off by more than 15 degrees. Was used twice what we believe was accurate which gave us a false sense of security. On the third bath it no where near accurate and we could tell just by touch.

I got this thermometer to watch the water temperature while my toddler has a bath. This thermometer was super easy to use and has a large a clear display to ready the temperature. I like that it comes with a battery pre-installed and is ready to go right away. The shark is super cute and fun and my kids love playing with it. The shark floats very well on the surface of the water and reads the water temperature very quickly.
